Crime in the theater - Ngaio Marsh (Elliot 2010)

convinced to spend a pleasant and relaxing evening, the distinguished Chief Inspector of Scotland Yard, Allyen decides to accept the invitation of his friend and journalist Nigel Bathgate to go with him to attend the theater Rat and Beaver. Is kidnapped by the script, by the skill of the actors, the lighting, the costumes, looks like a kid in a candy store. And everything runs smoothly until the last act when two actors known as Gardner's skill and Surbonadier confront weapons in hand. A shot was fired, as expected, only this time the bullet is not fake and under the eyes of all present is consumed murder. Surbonadier dies, a single shot straight to the heart. Allyen in a moment what plays the role of the excellent detective, took over the situation and begins to investigate his own way, with the talent, the skills and insights that made him famous. It puts all the players in a row, Torchia them, questioning them with skills, scolded them, offends them, mistreat them from top to bottom whether it is Mr. Saint, the theater owner and uncle of the deceased, who Props to the props, "There is a murder charges pending, waiting to find the culprit .... we want to say, Mr. Saint, who here is doing a drama on which she has no authority and where its role may be important or not at all? To make even more than my flight of fancy, I add that stage manager, producer and critic of this drama is that old cop named Law. And I, Mr. Saint, in the words of a box office hit for a long time ago, "I, Sir, I represent the law." Sit down, if you wish, and desire to remain silent . Dig into the past and discovers that all Subonadier was a despicable person and hated by all. You are all suspects. E tutti mentite e recitate.
